Black & White: Bermuda Dockyard
My husband and I went on the trip of a lifetime last summer to Bermuda. This is where I get to brag on him, because it earned the trip by kicking ass at work and selling way over his quota. The best part about it was the constant beauty – I literally couldn’t stop taking pictures. The worst part was that we rented a scooter and Bermudians drive like absolute maniacs – on the wrong side of the road no less. The trip was a little hard on my adrenal gland.
This photo isn’t typical of the ones I took on the trip, but it’s one of my faves. The Royal Naval Dockyard was kind of a tourist trap, but worth it for shots like this. I was playing around with it in Photoshop and was quite stunned to see how awesome it turned out in black and white. I pumped up the contrast with ReDynaMix and didn’t do much else!

Wendy, I always wanted to go to Bermuda and wondered if it would be worth the trip, now I have someone I trust’s opinion. What a lovely stop this was for me today.
