My kids LOVE this movie — it is really sweet and gentle unlike lots of other kids movies out these days.
Christmas comes tomorrow, and Pooh and his pals can hardly wait! But they might wind up waiting much longer than just one day when Santa s magic toy sack goes missing along with a little lost reindeer. Now it s up to the problem-solving “Super Sleuths” to work together and follow the clues to reach the North Pole in time to help Santa deliver his presents. Along the way, they ll meet new friends, make new discoveries and share in the true spirit of Christmas. Amazon review

Released on DVD November 20th, this G-rated third installment of the Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen and Martin Short may be just the thing to get you in the mood for the holidays. Their web site also has some cute Christmas activities for you to try out.
How about a new villain and a dash of It’s a Wonderful Life to spice up the third installment of the popular Tim Allen holiday franchise? Under the onslaught of another Christmas season, Santa Claus/Scott Calvin (Allen) is feeling even more pressure because Mrs. Claus (Elizabeth Mitchell, reprising her role from The Santa Clause 2) is expecting a little Claus and also longing for the company of some “tall people.” So Scott agrees to let her parents (Ann-Margret and Alan Arkin) visit as long as they believe that they’re really in Canada rather than at the North Pole. -Amazon review

Are you planning to help Santa stuff the stockings this year? I’ve found a couple of unusual things you might never have put in there before.

A set of four of Bourjois’ award winning lip glosses and a keychain — a $36 value for just $18 from Sephora. In fact, Sephora has a ton of great stocking stuffers.

LEGO Magnets are hilarious. Build them right on your fridge! They have tons of sets like Star Wars, City People, Castle People, plain bricks, EXO-FORCE, and more. There are even pens and keychains — something for all LEGO-lovers on your list.

Chocolate Sardines from Plow & Hearth – $9.95 For that person that might have deserved coal instead? This would be pretty funny.
Did you know you can give membership in Netflix as a gift? It is very cool — you can give someone a one month subscription for just $5, or go all the way up to a full year. I love Netflix, and it would be a great stocking stuffer for that hard-to-buy for person on your list. Sweet!

Peppermint Pig and Hammer – $15.95 from Plow & Hearth Tradition says that this pig is good luck — plus you get to smash him with a hammer and eat delicious peppermint!

When in doubt, gift cards are fantastic gifts, and iTunes gift cards are great for music lovers as well as folks who want to watch TV shows on their iPods!
