Yesterday, to celebrate a mini windfall, I took the kids to the mall and gave them $50 each to spend on whatever they wanted. My girls, ages 7 and almost 15, couldn’t be more different: one’s a tomboy and one’s a total girly-girl. But one thing they do agree on: they love Claire’s. I happen to love Claire’s too, in fact way back in 2000 I did a lot of the artwork for their website. But yesterday, I was poking around in the store and absolutely fell in love with this scarf from their new Folk Tales collection:
