Skip the Credit Card Fees and Give Directly to Haiti Relief Efforts
I gave up credit cards several years ago, they got me into too much trouble. 
But I came across a great site today if you happen to own a Capital One credit card – The No Hassle Giving Site. Right now, the credit card companies that are on everyone’s s*it list are still charging a 3% transaction fee for everyone who is giving a credit card donation to the Haiti relief efforts. Capital One is the sole exception – waiving their fees so that 100% of the money you donate goes to the cause of your choice.
There are many organizations that are based in or dedicated to Haiti in the Giving Site system – so if you happen to be a Capital One customer, please consider giving through their site!
