Contest Closed: Win a Trip to SeaWorld for Four from IZEA
This last weekend, I had the chance to go to SeaWorld thanks to them and IZEA. I haven’t been to SeaWorld since I was probably ten years old. Any chance to get out of Chicago in February is a good one, but to SeaWorld?! I was saying “SQUEEEE!!!!!” for weeks until the day to leave arrived.
I almost feel bad about how much fun we had on this trip – I don’t really want to rub it in. 
But we got the VIP tour of the park with front of the line ride access, lunch with the Sharks, dolphin petting and feeding (OMG), and center-stage seats for the Shamu Believe show. I normally try to put some kind of ‘constructive criticism’ into my review posts to keep them real. But this trip? Flawless.
I asked one of our tour guides how much the park has changed in the last 30 years. I knew it was a lot, but didn’t expect her to say, “Hmmm… well, I think the Penguin Experience was here back then. But that would be it”. But if you think the reason they invited us is because of all the new stuff they have added over the years, you would be wrong.
They invited us because of The Manta. I seriously can’t do this ride justice in a post. Ted comes close in this video of our hard hat tour of the construction of this unbelievably cool new roller coaster:
The Manta is opening in May of 2009. And someone who enters this giveaway is going to be one of the first people to ride it!

My daughters have never been to Sea World. I know they’d love it and the ride- and I know they’d learn something while we’d be there!
My kids are the only ones in their classes that have not yet been to Sea World. I have got to get them there!

This trip would be a dream come true. A chance for our busy family to enjoy time together instead of apart. After reading about this contest my daughter is already planning everything out, kids. Oh my heavens. I have been dreaming of a family vacation and trying to figure out what in the world we can do without spending an arm and a leg. What a blessing a trip like this would be. I have been wanting to take our children to Sea World for a couple years now, just haven’t funds.
My kids have never been to Sea World and have never seen anything like a whale or dolphin. I’m also obsessed with roller coasters, so this would be perfect for me!

I love roller coasters. I really love roller coasters. I was one of the first 1000 people to ride the Revolution at Magic Mountain (I have the tee shirt to prove it.)and I am looking foward to riding the Manta. Thanks for the giveaway.

Okay I want to ride Manta, because the Last Time we went to Sea World their Atlantis ride was pretty new. We SPECIFICALLY asked to sit at the back of the car that would go on the flume ride because my husband was the largest person being loaded on and we knew that would make it heavier where we sat. Nope, right in front. Sure enough the end of the ride came and we were soaked, I mean really soaked, wring out your clothes soaked, along with our passports, money and all our other personal documentation. We were so upset, we have never been back to Sea World (that was in 1998), So 11 years later, I’m willing to give them another go, and ride Manta.

My family and I don’t take many trips together. Recently, my mom and dad got divorced, and I went away to college in Oregon. I cant afford to go home to visit them until summer, so this trip would enable me to do something fun for myself instead of being stuck at school for six months. I would take my cousin, who is having a hard time in school and is getting done with cancer, and my boyfriend. It would be an amazing trip.
