Contest Closed: Win a Trip to SeaWorld for Four from IZEA
This last weekend, I had the chance to go to SeaWorld thanks to them and IZEA. I haven’t been to SeaWorld since I was probably ten years old. Any chance to get out of Chicago in February is a good one, but to SeaWorld?! I was saying “SQUEEEE!!!!!” for weeks until the day to leave arrived.
I almost feel bad about how much fun we had on this trip – I don’t really want to rub it in. 
But we got the VIP tour of the park with front of the line ride access, lunch with the Sharks, dolphin petting and feeding (OMG), and center-stage seats for the Shamu Believe show. I normally try to put some kind of ‘constructive criticism’ into my review posts to keep them real. But this trip? Flawless.
I asked one of our tour guides how much the park has changed in the last 30 years. I knew it was a lot, but didn’t expect her to say, “Hmmm… well, I think the Penguin Experience was here back then. But that would be it”. But if you think the reason they invited us is because of all the new stuff they have added over the years, you would be wrong.
They invited us because of The Manta. I seriously can’t do this ride justice in a post. Ted comes close in this video of our hard hat tour of the construction of this unbelievably cool new roller coaster:
The Manta is opening in May of 2009. And someone who enters this giveaway is going to be one of the first people to ride it!

My daughter keeps seeing the SeaWorld commercials and tells me she’d rather go there than DisneyWorld – we have only taken small trips closeby so this would be an amazing real “first” vacation for her!

I was a working mother of 3 girls ans so I was never able to take them on a real vacation. Now they are almost grown and it would be great to be able to get them all together for a real vacation

I would love to win this because the last time I was at Sea World was in San Diego during the early 70’s. Can you tell I don’t get to travel much? I probably would be too chicken to ride the Manta but it’s a fun idea.

After sufferring a mild concussion from a rollercoaster ride at sixflags, it would be great to be able to go to an amusement park with my family without putting myself at risk. Well my kids have never been to SEAWORLD , I was there like 27 yrs ago so I think it would be great for us all to experience this together. I also just recently lost over 100lbs so I actually WOULD go on this ride now. Thanks for the chance

Our Sea World in Ohio closed in 2000 so that was the last time we’ve gone. It would be great to take my family again since it has been 9 years since we’ve seen Shamu.

Oh wow that would be so awesome! My mom won a trip to disney and we went when my boy was 1 1/2, he’s 2 now and I would love to take him somewhere again! He loved it so much even though he was so little, and still talks about it and the castle! Also, he loves water, dolphins, penguins, anything aquatic, and my sisters and I would flip to get to ride the Manta!

My kids love Sea World, but it’s been years since we’ve been there. My daughter especially loves the dolphins. My son, who’s autistic, likes just staring at the fish. I think he finds it peaceful.

I would love to win this trip. This past August my fiance arranged a “Swim with Sharks” adventure for me at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. It was something I had been longing to do for some time and it was one of the best expieriences of my life. I love the marine life and would love to go to SeaWorld as I have been down there twice but never had the oppurtunity to go! I swam with the sharks and now she wants to swim with dolphins.
